As property owners ourselves, we have had first-hand experience of poor estate management - and the impact it has on leaseholders. We wanted to create a company people could trust to provide good customer service as well as value for money.

Plymouth Block Management was born out of dissatisfaction with the status quo and a belief there had to be a better way of managing property. Since then the company has grown, but we have never lost sight of our original aims.

Burrington Estates is a growing property group with a number of associated companies that has worked with Plymouth Block Management (PBM), across a number of Freehold Properties since 2013. The group has always found the PBM team to be accessible, pro-active and highly professional. The quality of service we have received has been exemplary. PBM is currently managing, on behalf of the Group, Ocean Crescent, Plymouth - A 122 residential/one commercial unit scheme and Evolution Cove, Plymouth - a 60 residential/two commercial unit scheme. Currently we are in discussions with PBM to review the Freehold Management of a recently complete building in Exeter city centre, consisting of 24 residential and 10 offices.

I am a leaseholder of 2 apartments in a purpose built development of 58 apartments and 3 commercial units in Plymouth. Plymouth Block Management inherited several problems with the unfinished state and quality of the building standards, some rather undesirable rental tenants (who Plymouth Block Management were instrumental in removing) , tribunal challenges, led by me, regarding money owed to the Leaseholders Service Charge Account. Since Plymouth Block Management has been involved I have exercised my rights under the lease terms and the Landlord and Tenant Act and inspected not just the statement of accounts supplied, but also all the documents supporting the expenses for the service charge account years ending 2011 - 2015. I am pleased to be able to report not only have Plymouth Block Management been very helpful during these inspections/audits I have found nothing invalid or unreasonable in the expenses charged to the leaseholders service charge account. The system Plymouth Block Management have adopted makes it very straightforward for anyone to inspect the accounts and is in suitable format should any leaseholder exercise their right to make a challenge through the First Tier Tribunal (Property).

These guys have really done a good job running my block, I am moving out after 18 months, after selling my apartment. Not only have I have had a first-rate service from the time they came onboard some 12 months ago. but it's pleasing to see people caring about other people and making those people lives that much better. The lady in question is Claire who could not have been any better under difficult circumstances when taking over. Transparent honest and fair, we'll do you all.

Great company, honest and transparent, hands on, management who are approachable and always willing to help. Very fair but straight, call them, talk to them, ARMA qualified and accredited one of two companies in Plymouth at this time.
